The Minimal Access & Obesity Surgery Centre was started in Feb 1999. This was the first time obesity surgery was started in India. More than 400 obese patients have been operated successfully over the last 14 years. The procedure includes Laparoscopic Gastric Banding and laparoscopic Gastric bypass, Laparoscopic Gastric Sleeve Resection. The center has team of specialists including bariatric surgeon, endochrinologist, anesthesiologist, nutritionist, clinical research associate, Councillors and trained supportive staff.

The surgeries are performed at Jehangir (Apollo) Hospital, Pune ,& Shree Hospital, Pune.

Our center also deals with the problem of obesity, Diabetes, gynaecological disorders, lipid disorders & life style diseases.

We have a privilege of treating the patients from all over India and abroad. The center also runs Obesity Support Groups in Pune and Mumbai.

We conduct various clinical trial's in our center. We are specialized in general , gastrointestinal , laparoscopic & Bariatric -Metabolic surgery. We have our own laboratory to support the research activities. We have the storage / records facility for clinical and research work..
